Aya Morningstar is a new author I have discovered. This is the third book I have read and I am really enjoying her books.
This is the story of Ren and Cage two people who get a chance at love after being separated for sometime. I enjoyed reading this book because it left e wondering if the bad guy was really a bad guy. It makes you follow the story almost to the end to find out the answer. Glad to see that everybody has a HEA in this book. Worthy of reading Aya knows how to tell a tale.
I really enjoyed the hero and heroines dynamic. The supporting characters have their own bits, which I loved! There were a couple moments where I was a bit frustrated because I just wanted to get to the end, lol, but overall this was a good story. The hero holds a boulder of guilt. The heroine holds a bit of animosity. It is definitely worth the read to see how they unfold each other

Cage left town years ago to keep his love ones safe.
He came, back to give is sister the family home .
All dose not go well for him and Ren who is an old friend.
This is a very hot book.
Ren and Cage make a nice couple which is good since they need to deal with a shifter who's the definition of evil villain. The secondary characters were strong and well developed. There's NO cliffhanger.

I was a little concerned she was going to be a doormat in need of a hero but she found her backbone. I thought Ren was a little naive but fortunately following the rules yielded the necessary result.
Cage is an awesome person...doing what he thinks is right. As an MMA fighter, he has a lot on his plate. After ending up throwing a fight to save his sister, he backs away from the fighting to try and keep those he loves safe. However, he is forced to return and is once again pulled into the fighting scene. This time, fate decides to let him actually have the girl he wants and she is drawn into the fighting scene too. Up against the same fighter he had to back away from last time, he is now forced to decide between how to keep his girls safe and how to keep his promise of not killing.
Awesome book...great series!
Ren and Cage have known each other for a very long time. She is Cage's sister's best friend. He has felt he has never been good enough for her. Now he has returned to his hometown and his dangerous past is catching up him and the people he cares about the most can get hurt...again. He is an ex-MMA fighter and sexy as heck.
I love how this author makes the animal side of her characters talk. It is LOL funny. The heated scenes are hot, hot, hot!
Again, this author needs beta readers. I do this quite often. It helps. This author had errors, repeated pages and chapter number errors. This is why I could not rate it higher...they are good plots, but the lack of care for the correctness of the editing of the story as a whole, makes it hard.
